The Big Wednesday Multiple - PSG to hold firm in the Nou Camp

Expect plenty of PSG men behind the ball this evening

It's that time of the week where Paul Robinson selects a home win, an away win, a match to go over 2.5 goals and a match to go under 2.5 goals. Here are his selections:

Bet 1: Chelsea (HOME) @ 1.7 (7/10) - Live on Sky Sports 1 at 19:45 GMT

With The Blues having already secured top spot in Group G, Jose Mourinho is set to rest the likes of John Terry and Eden Hazard for this clash. That has caused a drift in the market and they have now become a very back-able price given that Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas should still start.

Chelsea will also want to put their first defeat of the campaign behind them as soon as possible and with such a strong record at Stamford Bridge, I can't see anything other than a victory.

There is a slight case to be made for Sporting Lisbon to take something from the game as they still need at least a point to guarantee qualification into the last 16. Marco Silva's side aren't exactly at their best on the road though and in this competition this year, they couldn't win at Maribor and were beaten at Schalke.

Bet 2: Schalke (AWAY) @ 1.72 (8/11) - Live on Sky Sports Interactive at 19:45 GMT

The other match in Group G sees Schalke travel to Slovenia for a match with Maribor that they simply have to win. The Germans would then move to eight points, but they would need Sporting to lose at Chelsea given their inferior head to head record.

Roberto Di Matteo has connections at Chelsea though and it wouldn't surprise me if his former players did all they could to enable his team to make the last 16. Schalke will of course have to hold up their end of the bargain, and they come into this match on the back of two thumping victories over Mainz 05 and Stuttgart. 

Maribor themselves still have something to play for as victory would see them finish third and enter the Europa League. They are yet to record a win in this group so far though and while they will point to the fact that they are unbeaten at home, Ante imunda's men will have to be more attacking this evening and that will put extra pressure on their vulnerable backline. 

Bet 3: Bayern Munich v CSKA Moscow (Over 2.5 goals) @ 1.5 (1/2) - Live on Sky Sports Interactive at 19:45 GMT

This selection is a bit of a no-brainer but I just can't see anything other than over 2.5 goals.

Munich have long since qualified for the last 16 and with a seven point lead at the top, they will go through as group winners. The 2013 champions have racked up 13 goals and conceded four during their five fixtures this term and that means they're games are averaging 3.4 goals each time. 

CSKA Moscow may well be bottom of the group but if there is a winner in the Roma v Man City game, a point would earn them a spot in the Europa League. It's hard to see that happening though as while Pep Guardiola's team won't be at full strength, his second string are still very capable.

The problem for Leonid Slutsky is that his players aren't great at keeping clean sheets and in their last seven away matches in this competition, over 2.5 backers would have been paid out every single time.

Bet 4: Barcelona v PSG (Under 2.5 goals) @ 2.5 (6/4) - Live on Sky Sports 2 at 19:45 GMT

This is perhaps the match of the night as Barcelona have to beat PSG to top the group and avoid some of the bigger names in European football in the last 16. 

The task is simple for PSG as all they need is a draw and I fully expect Laurent Blanc to play a more negative style than usual. Containing Barcelona is a task that has been completed by the likes of Celtic in recent years and the French are clearly a much stronger outfit.

For all their star power in the attacking areas, Barcelona haven't been putting teams to the sword as often as they should this season. They've already been beaten 1-0 by Celta Vigo in the Nou Camp and in this competition, Luis Enrique's men only beat APOEL 1-0 in front of their own fans.
