Cross-Sport Multiple: Back Hammers to beat Leicester

Sam is overjoyed by West Ham's recent run of form

Andrew Hughes thinks West Ham will taking all three points against Leicester and will help to land a Saturday cross-sport multiple.

Bet 1: Back West Ham to beat Leicester at 1.664/6

West Ham have overcome a shaky start to their campaign to record an impressive run of results including victories over Manchester City and Liverpool. They've lost just one of their last ten and are currently just three points off third place.

That run has been built around some strong performances at home. The Hammers have won five of their last six at Upton Park, their sole slip up being a goalless draw with Aston Villa in early November.

By contrast, Leicester, currently five points from safety, have got nothing to show for some hard-working performances, and are without a win in eleven. They've also failed to win any of their last six against West Ham and haven't tasted victory at Upton Park since August 2000. Back the Hammers for the win.

Bet 2: Back Leicester to beat Northampton at 3.412/5

Last year it was Northampton who ended Leicester's run of successive final appearances, en route to their first Premiership win, and the reigning champions have been flying this season, topping the table after a run of one defeat in nine.

But after a slow start, exacerbated by a horrendous injury list, Leicester have begun to find form. They are unbeaten in four in the Premiership and a home victory against Toulon two weeks ago means their European Cup hopes are still alive.

Bet 3: Back Ronny Huybrechts to beat Andy Smith at 1.834/5

It's the first round of the PDC World Championship and this match between two veterans looks like being a close one. Andy Smith is the younger man, but has been a part of the PDC since 2004, picking up six titles, whereas his opponent is only in his second full season on the tour.

But for all his experience, Smith hasn't achieved much in the big televised events, and has never gone further than the last sixteen in this event. Huybrechts is a steady player in reasonable form and has earned some big scalps this season, including Michael van Gerwen and James Wade. The Belgian won his only previous match against Smith, back in 2005 and I think he'll edge this one.

Their narrow defeat in last year's semi-final was the first time they'd lost to Northampton in eleven encounters, and they have a good record at Franklin's Gardens, having won their last three regular season matches there. Back the Tigers to spring a surprise on Saturday.
