Manchester City piled the title pressure back on Jose Mourinho's Chelsea with a convincing win at the Etihad Stadium over an unfortunate Crystal Palace. Despite having a raft of frontline strikers unavailable through injury, City made short work of Neil Warnock's men through two goals from David Silva and one from Yaya Toure and are now 3.55n/a to lift the title come May.

Manchester United's run of wins came to an end after they were held 1-1 by Aston Villa at Villa Park despite Paul Lambert's team having Gabriel Agbonlahor sent off. The Draw was matched at 4.47/2 and Aston Villa now find themselves priced at 9.08/1 for relegation, having been matched as low as 3.052/1 earlier in the season. Falcao cancelled out Christian Benteke's opener and United are now undefeated in seven games.

Southampton got back to winning ways with a huge 3-0 win over Everton, Graziano Pelle was back among the goals and Saints never looked in trouble against the Toffees in what was as close to a perfect afternoon as possible for Ronald Koeman. Southampton are still hotly fancied by the market to finish in the top six this term; their price is just 1.824/5 after their impressive win.

Elsewhere in the top flight, a Charlie Austin-inspired QPR came from behind to win 3-2 against West Brom. Austin scored a superb hat-trick (matched at 32.031/1 on the Exchange) to take his goal tally for the season to 11 and it can only be a matter of time now before he gets the nod from Roy Hodgson.

In the day's other games, Hull slumped to yet another defeat, this time at home to Swansea, Spurs beat Burnley 2-1 and West Ham cruised to a 2-0 win over a hapless Leicester at Upton Park. Leicester are now just 1.4640/85 for the drop.
