The goals are set to flow in Holland this evening according to Paul Robinson as he thinks that under 3.5 has to be opposed in the Eredivisie clash between AZ Alkmaar and Utrecht.

A run of four straight victories came to an end last time for AZ Alkmaar but they didn't lose and a point away at Feyenoord can be considered an excellent result. While they would have been disappointed to have thrown away a 2-0 lead, the failure of their defence plays into our hands tonight.

John van den Brom's side had kept four successive clean sheets before last Sunday, with all four matches finishing with two goals or fewer. Things went back to normal at Feyenoord though as prior to that run, their previous five scorelines had been 2-3, 2-2, 3-0, 2-2 and 3-3.

Opponents, Utrecht, come into this game in completely the opposite form as they've lost their last two matches. A 3-1 defeat at Ajax can be forgiven, but the 4-2 loss at home to Heracles certainly cannot. That was a real shock considering they had demolished NAC Breda 5-1 the week before.

As you can already tell, Rob Alflen's men usually end up in goal-fests and with 27 scored and 33 conceded so far this season, their fixtures are averaging a whopping 3.75 goals each time - the joint highest in the division. A total of 11 of their 16 outings have rewarded under 3.5 layers - including each and every one of their last 10.

The hosts could end up scoring all four of the goals we need themselves but I certainly wouldn't rule out the visitors from getting on the scoresheet. That's why, with under 3.5 goals trading at around the 1.738/11 mark, I have to make it my lay of the day.
