Against All Odds: Nueva Chicago to keep it tight

Who will make it to the top flight?

It's Argentinian action for Paul Robinson tonight as he thinks the clash between Nueva Chicago and Gimnasia Jujuy will be low-scoring.

Nueva Chicago v Gimnasia Jujuy
Friday December 19, 23:15 GMT

This is the final match in the race for promotion from Primera B Nacional. Aldosivi are already up and hosts Nueva Chicago only need a draw to join them. That should lead to negative tactics from manager, Rene Kloker as all his team need to do is keep a clean sheet.

Not conceding a goal is something that 'Torito' have managed in six of their last eight in front of their own fans. It's a good job they did as well given that they only scored more than once themselves on two occasions during that period.

Gimnasia Jujuy on the other hand need to win so playing for a draw is of no use to them. It's going to be hard to put the 1-0 defeat they suffered at the hands of Aldosivi behind them though and that came on home soil.

Mario Sciacqua's men have now gone five without victory and it's just one win in seven on the road. Scoring goals has been an issue as they fired five blanks during that period, but at the other end, the San Salvador based club have kept three clean sheets in their last half dozen away from home.

A goalless draw has to be a big runner in this one, so with over 1.5 goals trading at around the 1.728/11 mark, I have to make it my lay of the day.
