Tips of the Week: Winners, winners everywhere!

Welbeck's winner at the Hawthorns was good news for a number of our tipsters

It was another strong week for the football tipsters on B.B with winners across the board, while we also saw success in NFL, cricket and Strictly Come Dancing. All the details in our regular Monday round-up...

Kicking off at the Hawthorns where Lewis Jones was rewarded for his bravery in tipping up a four-point bet on Arsenal to win to nil against West Brom at 3.259/4 as the Gunners notched a 1-0 win. It brings Lewis' season profit to a superb 24.8 points.

Arsenal's win was also good news for in-form Andrew Hughes as it helped bring home yet another Cross Sport Multiple, with wins for Sri Lanka and England in the rugby union completing the 4.55n/a treble. Andrew's 2014 profit for the column now stands at a tasty 18.69 points.  

Betfair trader Alan Thompson also got a winner on the game, backing Arsenal to win at 1.910/11, but his big profits this weekend came from landing a double in Southampton v Man City as the visitors won at 2.47/5 and overs came in at 2.01/1.

Daily columnist Michael Lintorn landed 3/4 on his Opta-based goalscorer tips as Danny Ings, Charlie Austin and Wilfried Bony all did the business. Only Sergio Aguero - surprisingly - prevented the clean sweep, but it was still a 4.02 profit for the weekend.

Moving down the tiers, to League One, where regular previewer Alan Dudman had a good week, with four winning tips from five, including a lay of Sheff Utd @ 1.75/7 at home to Notts County, for a profit of 3.23 points.

Alan also boosted his Strictly Come Dancing series profits to an impressive 11.45 points, after successfully laying Jake Wood to be top scorer on Saturday night.

On to European action, where Kevin Hatchard had a good week, with 3/4 winners on his Bundesliga weekend preview for a two-point profit and 2/2 on his Schalke v Chelsea Champions League preview for a 1.8 point profit.

Finally on the football front, Reuben Thomas got a clean sweep in the regular Friday Betfair Live Video preview, with the draw and over 3.5 goals landing in the Anderlecht v Club Brugge game, at 3.7511/4 and 2.89/5 respectively, and Porto keeping a clean sheet, as advised at 1.645/8, for a profit of 5.19 points.

On to the NFL where Romilly Evans' good run continued with seven winning bets from 11, including Denver scoring a first scoring play touchdown at over 3/1, for a profit of more than five points. 

It was a happy Thanksgiving for fellow NFL previewer, Neil Harvey, with seven winners from 10 including 4/4 on Chicago @ Detroit.

Finally to cricket, where Ed Hawkins kicked off the England v Sri Lanka series in style, tipping up Moeen Ali to top score for the tourists at an 'overpriced' 5.39/2. Ed's profit for the calendar year now stands at over 35 points. Batted.
