He only left in the summer but reporrts say he's on his way back
Could a Manchester United legend really be returning to the club just a few months after leaving?
Inter Milan defender Nemanja Vidic is reportedly on the verge of a dramatic return to Man Utd - just six months after leaving.
The 33-year-old called time on a highly-successful eight-year spell at Old Trafford in the summer, opting to move to Italy after not being offered a new contract by United.
However, the Daily Star now claims the Serbian has agreed to rejoin the Red Devils after struggling in Serie A.
United chief Louis van Gaal is keen to add a defender to his ranks in January and is happy to give Vidic a way out of his San Siro nightmare.
Sticking with van Gaal's transfer plans and talkSPORT claim United will battle it out with Real Madrid to sign German midfielder Christoph Kramer next month.
United have a long-standing interest in the 23-year-old, who has once again impressed this season while on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach.
However, Real boss Carlo Ancelotti has now revealed his interest in Kramer as he looks to plug a gap in his midfield left by injuries to Luka Modric and James Rodriguez.
Kramer is valued at around 8million and could be the subject of a bidding war between the two European giants this winter.

Moving on to matters at Leicester City and The Sun is reporting that the Foxes will smash their transfer record in January by signing Anderlecht forward Aleksander Mitrovic.
Leicester boss Nigel Pearson is desperate to add to his attacking options in the next transfer window and has been linked with a move for Croatia international Andrej Kramaric.
However, with a deal for the 23-year-old having stalled the Foxes are ready to offer 10million to sign Mitrovic, who has netted 11 times for Anderlecht this season.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mail is suggesting that Liverpool and Everton have entered the race to sign Barcelona defender Martin Montoya.
The 23-year-old is eager to leave the Nou Camp in January having played just one league game for the Catalan giants this season and a host of clubs are ready to move for him.
Arsenal and Juventus have previously been linked but they have two new competitors now in Liverpool and Everton, with the Merseysiders prepared to make an offer in January rather than risk waiting until his contract with Barcelona runs out in the summer.
Finally and Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has moved to end speculation about Andre Schurrle's future by insisting he wants to keep the German.
Schurrle has been linked with a move back to his homeland as part of a deal for Borussia Dortmund's Marco Reus.
However, Mourinho insists the World Cup winner still features in his plans and has told Sky Sports he will not be allowed to leave.
