Cross-Sport Multiple: Back the draw at White Hart Lane

Tottenham's have been frustrating to watch at home

After landing Saturday's cross sport multiple Andrew Hughes is banking on a stalemate in London to help make it a weekend double.

Bet 1: Back Tottenham to draw with Everton at 3.55/2

Only three teams, all of them currently in the bottom five, have earned fewer points at home than Tottenham so far this season, but despite their poor form at White Hart Lane, I think Mauricio Pochettino's side can earn a battling point on Sunday.

Like the home side, Everton secured their place in the Europa League knock-out stages in midweek and they travel to North London having conceded just three goals in their last eight games in all competitions.

But although the visitors have an excellent away record this campaign, they have only won one of four league matches immediately following a European tie. Both sides are weakened by injury and we could be in for a tight game in which Tottenham have plenty of possession but struggle to break Everton down.

Bet 2: Back Xiao Guodong to beat Matthew Selt at 1.42/5

Xiao Guodong is one of the rising stars of world snooker and he can progress to the third round of the UK Championship on Sunday, at the expense of Matthew Selt.

Selt is a better player than his current world ranking outside the top forty would suggest, but he's yet to make a significant breakthrough and has been in ordinary form this season so far, whereas Guodong has already reached the last four of a ranking event at the Australian Goldfields Open and breezed through his opening game against Ian Glover in York. Back Guodong for a straightforward win.

Bet 3 Back Minnesota to beat Carolina at 1.728/11

After finishing as NFC South Division winners last year, Carolina Panthers have been one of the more disappointing sides in this year's NFL. Their offence has struggled and their defence, such a strong suit last season, has been equally poor, as their record of just three wins from eleven games illustrates.

Minnesota Vikings have hardly been impressive this year either, but they do have a slightly better record than the Panthers and with home advantage against a side that has lost five in a row, they are the pick to edge a scrappy contest.
