The player has 18-month left on his deal at Goodison Park and has insisted he is in no rush to put pen to paper on a new deal.

According to The Telegraph, Spurs are hoping to take advantage of Mirallas' reluctance to extend his stay at Everton and the winger may fancy a to move to the north London outfit.

The Dutch tactician is also thought to be interested in signing midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, however, the Frenchman was absent from the encounter at St James' Park due to injury.

On to news coming from the Liberty Stadium and striker Bafetimbi Gomis has put his Swansea City future in doubt by suggesting he could leave the club this month.

The Frenchman is not believed to be happy with the amount of game time he has had with the Welsh outfit and could be tempted to join forward Wilfried Bony in leaving the Swans.

He told Canal Plus: "When Bony was here, it was planned I should play a certain number of games, that wasn't the case.

"Today, I ask myself many questions. I need time to think. I have been approached by clubs. I don't know what will happen. Me leaving? It is possible. It is planned that my entourage will meet with Swansea's representatives."

Finally and Crystal Palace are thought to be the frontrunners to sign Blackburn Rovers striker Rudy Gestede.

Swansea and West Brom are thought to be the other two Premier League sides chasing the 26-year-old but Eagles boss Alan Pardew is believed to be in pole position to land the Rovers man for a fee in the region of 4million.
