Opta Stats: Southampton to thwart flying Crystal Palace

Man City and Man United are the only teams to have beaten Southampton at St Mary's this season

The Opta stats suggest that Swansea, Southampton and Sheffield United will be in the FA Cup fifth-round draw...

Blackburn v Swansea (Saturday, 12.45, BBC Two Wales)

Swansea have won three of their past four FA Cup fixtures, all of which have been on the road

Only Everton have disrupted this run over the past two years, with a 3-1 win over Garry Monk's men shortly before embarking on a seven-game winning run in the Premier League.

The Welsh outfit saw off Championship club Birmingham away at this stage last term, despite having lost to them in the Capital One Cup earlier that season, and Blackburn have claimed victory in just four of their last ten in all competitions at Ewood Park.

Recommended Bet: Back Swansea to win @ 2.466/4

Preston v Sheffield United (Saturday, 15.00)

Sheffield United have won 12 and lost just two of their last 16 FA Cup matches

The Blades' stunning run continues under boss Nigel Clough, with the narrow Capital One Cup semi-final first-leg loss at Spurs only their third in 20 cup outings since the former Derby boss took charge.

The Yorkshiremen haven't conceded a goal in four FA Cup clashes in 2014/15 either, so their odds to leave their League One brethren's headquarters with a win while keeping Preston off the scoresheet look rather big.

Recommended Bet: Back Sheffield United to win to nil @ 6.05/1

Southampton v Crystal Palace (Saturday, 15.00)

Saints have won five straight meetings with the Eagles in all competitions

Crystal Palace's reintroduction to Alan Pardew has been a euphoric affair, with the 4-0 thrashing of Dover being followed by Premier League comeback victories against Tottenham and Burnley which have lifted them from 18th to 13th.

Southampton's form is ever fiercer though. They are unbeaten in eight encounters and won six of those, including the most recent three, which were all away. Pardew rarely enjoys returning to St Mary's, suffering 4-0 defeats on his past two visits with Newcastle.

Recommended Bet: Back Southampton to win @ 1.654/6
