Jordan Rhodes is being linked with Swansea switch
For as long as I can remember (well a few months at least) I've been wondering which Premier League team would take a punt on Jordan Rhodes, now reportedly it looks as though Swansea City will be that club.
Spanish side Valencia are reportedly eyeing up a move for Manchester City midfielder and England international James Milner.
According to the Daily Mirror, Los Che are hoping to snap up the 29-year-old for a cut-price deal worth 4million with the former Newcastle United player's contract set to expire in the summer.
City boss Manuel Pellegrini is keen on extending the midfielder's stay at the Etihad Stadium having impressed for the club this season, although there is yet to be an agreement made on an improved deal.
Valencia are hopeful of tempting the Englishman over to Spain in January or in the summer, with the club willing to wait six months to sign Milner on a free transfer.
Arsenal and Liverpool have previously been linked with Milner and they are bound to rival Valencia for him should he become a free agent at the end of the season.
Moving over to the red side of Manchester now and the same media outlet are reporting that the Red Devils are yet to receive a single enquiry for outcast Anderson.
The Brazilian has not featured for the club since August and manager Louis van Gaal has officially put the midfielder up for sale, although no interest has been shown yet with the 26-year-old's contract expiring in the summer.
Moving on to Arsenal and there could be bad news for Abou Diaby as it looks doubtful that the club will offer the midfielder a new contract due to his ongoing injury issues.
The Frenchman has made just 124 appearances since joining the Gunners in 2006 and manager Arsene Wenger admitted "we have a decision to make on his contract."
Heading over to Wales now and Swansea City have opened talks with Blackburn over striker Jordan Rhodes, according to the Daily Mail.
The Scotland international has been in superb form for Rovers this season, bagging nine goals in the Championship, and the 24-year-old could now be on his way to the Premier League.
Swansea will have to fork out around 11million for the striker, although money should not be a stumbling block having acquired nearly 30m from Wilfried Bony's recent move to Manchester City.
Finally, Chelsea are in talks with Fiorentina in an attempt to bring in sought-after winger Juan Cuadrado, according to the Daily Telegraph.
The Colombia international has been in great form in the Serie A this season and the Blues are reportedly willing to offer around 40million for the winger's services.
Chelsea are also prepared to offer unsettled Mohamed Salah or German international Andre Schurrle along with a substantial fee to land their target this month.
