Transfer Talk: Nani expects Old Trafford return

Nani still believes he'll wear the Manchester United red again

Not many big names in today's transfer talk but Nani insists he still has a future at Old Trafford. Good for him.

Liverpool have been linked with a move for Adam Bogdan after the goalkeeper's fine performance against them for Bolton Wanderers.

The Daily Mail claim Reds boss Brendan Rodgers has been tracking the Hungary international for some time and they could make a cut-price move in January.

Bogdan is out of contract at the end of the season and is currently the Wanderers' second choice behind Andy Lonergan, meaning Liverpool could wait until the end of the season when he will be a free agent but Bolton are unlikely to stand in his way if a bid is received this month.

Nani has claimed he will return to Manchester United at the end of the season after his loan with Sporting Lisbon comes to an end.

The winger had been expected to depart Old Trafford in the summer but Nani feels he could yet have a future with United.

"The club know my value and I know they want me to stay," Nani is quoted as saying by ESPN.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has said it would take a "phenomenal" offer for Andre Schurrle to leave the club in January but the Metro think he could be on his way to Wolfsburg before the window shuts.

The report claims the Bundesliga side are preparing a 27million offer and Schurrle is understood to be keen on a return to Germany, having fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge this season.

Midlands paper the Express & Star say West Brom boss Tony Pulis is closing in a deal to snare Callum McManaman and the transfer could even go through on Monday.

Albion have apparently seen two bids rejected by Championship side Wigan for the playmaker but they are confident their latest offer of 4.75million will be accepted for the 23-year-old winger.

Burnley could face a battle to keep hold of striker Danny Ings if the Mirror is to be believed as they claim a number of sides are tracking the forward.

Ings is out of contract at the end of the season and the Clarets have so far been unable to tie him down to a new deal and Spurs have been linked with a 5million move for the forward.

Spurs will reportedly face competition from Chelsea and Manchester City, who are keen to increase their number of homegrown players, while Dutch outfit Ajax have been credited with an interest in the past.
