Like the Murphy? Paul Krishnamurty does after tipping him at 19/1
A storming week for some of the regular B.B columnists, including more profit from our snooker tipster extraordinaire and yet another 'Big Wednesday' football multiple landing. All the details in our regular Monday round-up...
Kicking off with our man for all things green baize, Paul Krishnamurty, who made a huge 38-point profit on his outright tips for the Masters snooker, after picking out eventual winner Shaun Murphy at a chunky 20.019/1.
The latest profit means that the 'one from each quarter' column is now up by nearly 500 points (yes five hundred) in three years. Incredible tipping.
And it didn't end there. Paul's 'Bet of the Day' column on the Masters ended up +19.7 points in profit, finishing up by backing Murphy at 2.89/5 to win the final against favourite Neil Robertson.
In a recent golf column, Paul also picked out Gary Stal - matched at 1000.0n/a to win the Abu Dhabi Golf Championships this weekend after a Martin Kaymer collapse - as one of his Six Euro Tour youngsters to make big progress in 2015.
On to another hugely profitable columnist, in the form of Paul Robinson, who landed another Big Wednesday Multiple last week at odds of nearly 16/1 as Bradford beat Millwall 4-0, Lazio won 3-1 at Torino, Spurs and Burnley served up six goals and Ipswich v Southampton was a drab 1-0 away win.
After two weeks of 2015, the column is already in 15.92pts of profit, well on the way to matching 2014's 48.57pts profit.
Tobias Gourlay went 5/7 on the Football Bet of the Day last week, for an overall profit of 2.4 points, bringing his 2015 P/L to +3.78pts.
Finally on the football front, it was a solid week for our Football League columnists, with League One man Al Dudman going 2/3 and League Two tipster Ian Lamont hitting two winners, including Bury to draw with Wycombe at 3.39/4. Ian's season profit is now almost 10 points.
It was a cracking week for another daily columnist, Nick Shiamborous, who landed three winners as well as a big priced placed runner in his 80/20 previews, for a total profit of 9.48 points. The winners came on Wednesday at Newbury (Ron's Dream at 4.216/5), Thursday at Ludlow (Baths Well at 4.03/1) and Saturday at Ascot (Bitofapuzzle at 3.78n/a) while the placed horse was Cookie Ring at Wolverhampton on Friday, at 13.012/1.
A good week all round as, with his NBA hat on, Nick also tipped up New Orleans Pelicans to beat Toronto Raptors at 3.953/1 in the moneyline market.
Another excellent week for NFL man Neil Harvey who was bang on the money with his headline tip of outsiders Green Bay to make a quick start against Seattle, as the Packers shot into to a 16-0 lead. Five of Neil's seven tips were winners for an overall profit of 3.34 points.
