The 24-year-old has been in sparkling form this season and United are desperate not to lose him to Real, with reports indicating they will table a 36.4m five-year deal in the hope of keeping the shot stopper.

The Daily Mail claims Atletico Madrid will offer Chelsea striker Fernando Torres the chance to re-start his career back at his first club.

The Spaniard, who left the Vincente Calderon in 2007 to join Liverpool, is widely expected to cut short his two-year loan deal with AC Milan in January.
