Club Brugge vs Zulte-Waregem
Sunday 13:30

There's another opportunity to check on the leaders of the Jupiler League this Sunday as Club Brugge play host to flailing Zulte-Waregem.

After a rip roaring top of the table draw away at the home of the champions last week Brugge will feel they have passed their biggest challenge of the season so far. Michel Preud'homme's team remain top of the table and are now unbeaten in twenty games.

At the Jan Breydel Stadium they have been particularly dominant, they are yet to be defeated and have plundered nine goals in the last two games.

Refaelov, De Sutter and Castillo have all been delivering the goals but recently it's been the performances of Victor Vasquez that have caught the attention, he bagged a brace in Brussels and then notched another in the midweek 3-0 cup win away at Kortrijk. He should start again on Sunday and it will be his one hundredth game so he'll likely want to cap it with a goal.

Perhaps their most valuable asset however is their ever impressive Australian goalkeeper Matt Ryan who is earning himself a big reputation and seems destined for the top.

Zulte shared the points with Club Brugge in the reverse fixture earlier in the season and looked a decent team then, but recently they seem to have lost their way and now find themselves just three points above the drop zone.

They are certainly missing the spark they had with Thorgan Hazard and coach Francky Dury must get his team performing at a higher level but they face the toughest of tasks this Sunday.

Their best performer has been the Guinean midfielder Idrissa Sylla, he scored the dramatic late winner in extra time in the cup in midweek and will lead the charge for Essevee on Sunday.

With Club Brugge on a roll and Zulte's poor away record it's hard to see anything but a home win here.

Braga vs Guimaraes
Sunday 20:15

Sunday evening and a derby to feast on, the action comes from the Quarry as Braga welcome high flying Guimaraes to their iconic stadium.

Sergio Conceicao's Braga team are again looking a tough outfit in the Primeira Liga, they are in fourth spot and within touching distance of the Champions League places.

They are traditionally strong at home and this year is no different, a 6-1 win over bottom placed Penafiel last week made it seven straight league victories on their patch.

Eder and Prado are likely to start up front and will be on the hunt to poach the goals against a team that they have beaten at this stadium in the last seven meetings between the sides.

Guimaraes have been this years surprise package and after eleven games they are in second position just two points of leaders Benfica.

Manager Rui Vitoria has his team playing to their maximum level and they are currently on a run of five straight victories in which they have only conceded two goals and notably they overcame Sporting Lisbon 3-0 recently.

This storming form has not relented on their travels where they have won four from five and they will certainly test Braga's proud home record this Sunday.

Strikers Hernani, Alvez and Tomane all pose a threat but the man to watch will be Bernard Mensah, their star midfielder who is the driving force of the side.

This should be an intriguing encounter between these two neighbours who are both in impressive form but they could just cancel each other out...

Recommended Bets:
Back the draw @ 3.711/4
Back Over 2.5 Goals @ 2.68/5
