Liverpool set to splash ВЈ30million on two new forwards - Transfer Talk

No anguish on Ashley Cole's face today as he's en route to Roma

Liverpool are losing Luis Suarez and they'll need to replace him and Monday's transfer talk has them signing two strikers...

Liverpool continue to splash the cash as they close in on two forward players, Divock Origi and Lazar Markovic.

The Reds are claimed to have agreed a deal with Lille for Belgian striker Origi and will open up contract negotiations with the player this week, according to the BBC.

The 19-year-old will set the Reds back 10million and they are expected to continue their spending with the signing of talented 20-year-old winger Markovic from Benfica. The Daily Mail claims Markovic's 20million has been met by Liverpool, with Brendan Rodgers acting swiftly to spend the money he expects to receive from selling Luis Suarez to Barcelona.

Liverpool are also being linked with a surprise move for Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko, with reports in L'Equipe they are ready to rival Monaco for his signature. Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo claims defender Daniel Agger is on his way out of Anfield, however, and has been offered to Barcelona.

Ashley Cole is set to complete his move to Roma on a free transfer after the Serie A club tweeted a picture of the former Chelsea left-back with the message "Welcome to Rome, Ashley!"

According to the Telegraph, Cole will sign a lucrative three-year deal with Roma, despite claims by the Mail on Sunday that Liverpool are hoping to make an 11th hour offer for the defender.

The Guardian reports incoming Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has made Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels his number one choice this summer, as he attempts to replace departed centre-backs Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic.

Arsenal have reportedly revived their interest in Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Lars Bender. The Daily Mirror claims Arsene Wenger wants to sign a holding midfielder this summer and sees Bender, rated at 15million, as the perfect option. The Gunners are also thought to be closing in on Newcastle defender Mathieu Debuchy and remain favourites to sign Barcelona winger Alexis Sanchez.

Southampton's summer has been all about outgoings so far but new boss Ronald Koeman has now set his sights on bringing new faces in, with reports in the Daily Mail he has launched an 8million bid for Cardiff City goalkeeper David Marshall. Reports in the French press meanwhile, say the Saints will make Lorient centre-back Bruno Ecuele Manga their number one target if Dejan Lovren gets his wish and joins Liverpool.

West Ham United are closing in on their second signing in four days, with Sky Sports reporting Charlton Athletic midfielder Diego Poyet has passed a medical and agreed terms on a four-year deal.

Finally some transfer talk from abroad and Real Madrid's pursuit of James Rodriguez has taken another turn. Spanish news outlet AS reports Monaco have quoted the Champions League winners 63million if they want to sign the Colombian this summer, after his starring role at the World Cup.
