Cross-Sport Multiple: Back Tosu to pick up three J League points

Despite Forlan's goals, Cerezo Osaka have struggled this season

Andrew Hughes thinks Sagan Tosu will beat Cerezo Osaka in J League Division One and will help land a Sunday multiple in the process.

Bet 1: Back Sagan Tosu to beat Cerezo Osaka at 2.89/5

This has been another tough season so far for Cerezo Osaka and despite the goals of Diego Forlan, they are at the wrong end of the table.

A run of two wins in nine games preceded the departure of manager Ranko Popovic but under successor Marco Pezzaiuoli Osaka have gone three more games without a win, including a goalless draw with relegation candidates Kofu last time.

Tosu lost their last game against third-placed Kawasaki Frontale so will be keen to make up lost ground, but they only trail leaders Urawa Reds by four points and are still on course to improve on their fourth-placed finish last season. Tosu have a solid away record and can earn all three points on Sunday

Bet 2: Back Trinidad and Tobago to beat St Lucia at 1.51/2

They're only three games into their Caribbean Premier League campaign, but already St Lucia Zouks are struggling and its not too hard to see why. Their bowling, led by Tino Best, Shane Shillingford and Sohail Tanvir, is strong, but they are desperately light on top class batsmen. The arrival of Kevin Pietersen in the next few days should sort that problem out, but they will continue to struggle in the interim.

Trinidad have been a force in this format of the game for many years. They have a well-balanced squad full of top Twenty20 performers and on their home patch, where they comfortably beat Jamaica on Saturday, they should have too much for St Lucia.

Bet 3: Back Marsel Ilhan to beat Ricardas Berankis at 1.84/5

The final of Sunday's Astana Challenger II is the first ever meeting between Ricardas Berankis and Marsel Ilhan. On stats the two are evenly matched, although Berankis is ranked 11 places higher and was also seeded higher in Kazakhstan.

But Ilhan has looked the more impressive, winning all of his games in straight sets and made to work only by Flavio Cipolla in his quarter final, whereas Berankis was taken to three sets in his semi-final by British hopeful Kyle Edmund on Saturday. Ilhan has more experience than his opponent and also has a considerable height advantage that could prove crucial. Back Ilhan for the win.
