Everton, Arsenal and Chelsea star in Friday's media transfer rumours

Could Iker Casillas be set for the Premier League?

Everton are set to sign a midfielder, Arsenal set to sign a legend and Chelsea set to re-sign a legend. All this and more from Alex Johnson.

Everton are close to completing a deal for Ferencvaros midfielder Muhamed Besic, according to reports in the Guardian.

The Bosnia-Herzegovina international has joined up with Roberto Martinez's squad in Thailand as the Premier League outfit continue their preparations for the new season.

Besic will not feature for Everton in the friendly against Leicester in Bangkok but the 21-year-old will have the time to bond with his expected new team-mates, with a deal set to be confirmed in the coming days.

Jose Mourinho has confirmed Chelsea are in serious discussions with former striker Didier Drogba over a return to Stamford Bridge this summer.

The Ivory Coast international won 10 trophies at Chelsea from 2004-2012 and is available on a free transfer from Galatasaray, with the Blues leading the race for his signature, according to the BBC.

Juventus could provide stiff competition for Mourinho as the Serie A title holders are also reportedly interested in signing the experienced striker.

Elsewhere in the Premier League, Arsenal are set to land Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas on a five-year contract, according to reports in the Daily Express.

The Spain international has been subject to interest from Arsene Wenger for several weeks and the Frenchman is hoping that a deal worth around 1.4million a year will be enough to tempt Casillas.

Sunderland forward Danny Graham could be set for an exit from the Stadium of Light after manager Gus Poyet told the striker he will find it hard to force his way into the side.

The former Swansea ace spent the latter stages of last season on loan at Middlesbrough and, according to the Sunderland Echo, a permanent move could be on the cards.

The Times reports that Newcastle are ready to reopen talks regarding a deal to let Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa join Bordeaux this summer.

The defender has struggled to gain a regular starting place under manager Alan Pardew and the France international looks to be heading for the exit at St James' Park.

Newcastle are said to be willing to accept offers in the region of 5million for the 25-year-old as they continue what has been a busy transfer window for the Magpies so far.

Finally, Dani Osvaldo is close to ending his nightmare spell at Southampton as The Sun claims the striker is set to join Italian giants Inter Milan.

The Italy international is expected to complete the move in the coming days for an undisclosed fee believed to be around the 9million mark.
