The Coritiba fans haven't had much to shout about lately
Two out of form sides take each other on in Brazil tonight and Paul Robinson thinks that Coritiba can't be trusted at odds-on for the visit of Figueirense.
Coritiba v Figueirense
Wednesday July 16, 23:30 BST
Coritiba have made a pretty miserable start to their season as after nine fixtures they've managed to record just a single victory. While they have drawn four times, a total of seven points from a possible 27 leaves them in the relegation zone.
Hugely experienced manager, Celso Roth, has endured a torrid time since his arrival at the beginning of April and he will be desperate for his team to build on the 3-0 victory they achieved over Goias in their final outing before the break for the World Cup.
I wouldn't be overly confident of them doing so though as even when faring much better last term, they barely won more than 50% of their matches at home and this year that figure is already down at 25%.
Figueirense are new to the top flight following a one year hiatus in Serie B. Things haven't gone too well for the Santa Catarina outfit though as they're rock bottom already - three points adrift of their nearest rivals.
The problem has been in front of goal for Guto Ferreira's men as they've netted just three times in 2014, but it is worth noting that all three have come since Ferreira took over from the departing Vincius Eutrpio at the beginning of May.
On the road, it's just one defeat in three for 'Figueira' and that includes a hugely surprising 1-0 win at Corinthians.
This match pits a pair of poor teams against each other, so with Coritiba so short at around the 1.664/6 mark, I have to make them my lay of the day
