Against All Odds: Put the champagne on Ice

We're off to Iceland today

It's Icelandic First Division action for Paul Robinson tonight as he thinks the goals will flow when KV travel to IA Akranes.

IA Akranes v KV

IA Akranes were relegated to this division last season but they've made a good start at bouncing straight back as after eight matches, they sit second in the league - two points behind the leaders with a game in hand.

The key to their initial success has been in the attacking areas as orvaldur rlygsson's side have scored an impressive 21 goals - giving their games an average of dead on 3.5 goals each time. Four of their eight have gone over 3.5 and they won 6-0 last time out.

KV entered this league from the other end as they were promoted from the third tier last season. They haven't made the greatest of starts though as they've managed just seven points from a possible 24 and they're only out of the relegation zone on goals scored.

The Reykjavk outfit have found the net 17 times - more than most other clubs - but they've conceded 20 at the other end. That has given their matches an average of 4.63 goals each time, with seven of them having had four or more.

The market hasn't quite settled yet but I would expect that you'll be able to lay this bet at around the 1.910/11 mark come kick off. That is far too short for my money, which is why I have to make under 3.5 goals my lay of the day.
