Louis van Gaal isn't done with his United squad overhaul
Manchester United are considering using Adnan Januzaj as bait in potential summer deals for either Marquinhos or Seamus Coleman.
Manchester United are considering using Adnan Januzaj as bait in potential summer deals for either Marquinhos or Seamus Coleman.
The Belgian youngster has struggled to establish himself under Louis van Gaal this season and was tipped to leave on loan during January, only for the Red Devils to keep him after a recent upturn in form.
However, questions remain over his future and the Manchester Evening News say he could be offered to other clubs in the summer, as part of a package to strengthen United's squad in the summer.
Both Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos and Everton full-back Coleman are thought to be high on manager Van Gaal's shopping list and despite Januzaj's undeniable potential, his manager reportedly feels he is replaceable.
Sticking with the Red Devils, and both they and Liverpool have been alerted by the potential availability of Inter Milan goalkeeper Samir Handanovic.
The Bosnian has been one of the few shining lights for the Nerazzurri in recent seasons, regularly keeping his side in games behind their often porous defence.
However, according to the Daily Express, via Tuttosport, his agent Federico Pastorello says the stopper will seek to leave the Giuseppe Meazza in the summer and could look to move to England, with both United and the Reds thought to be tracking his progress due to uncertainty over their own goalkeeping situations.
Moving on and St Etienne captain Loic Perrin says he still wants to move to the Premier League in the summer, after recently failing to agree a deal with Arsenal.
The 29-year-old's agent was contacted by the Gunners at the end of last year but talks broke down, with the North London outfit eventually opting for Villarreal's Gabriel Paulista.
Rather than be discouraged by the saga, Perrin still has his heart set on playing in the Premier League and is quoted by the Metro as saying that he would consider offers from English clubs in the summer.
Finally, and looking down the Premier League, the Birmingham Mail say after missing out on a deadline day departure from West Brom, Graham Dorrans could still join Norwich, albeit on loan.
The 27-year-old has struggled for minutes since the recent arrival of boss Tony Pulis and was close to joining the Norfolk outfit on Monday, only for the deal to fall through.
However, it is believed he could still be set for a switch to Carrow Road once the loan window reopens next week, subject to the clubs agreeing a compromise over his wages.
