Chelsea have kept 15 clean sheets in their last 19 Premier League home games

David Silva's cusp-of-half-time equaliser when Chelsea entertained Man City at the end of January was the sole goal that they have conceded in their past seven clashes with Premier League teams at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues have shut out better sides than Everton in front of their fans this season, including every top-eight club that they have hosted besides the champions.

Roberto Martinez's men haven't been too sharp recently either, firing just once across their previous three fixtures, and firing three Premier League blanks in five on the road.

Recommended Bet: Back Chelsea to keep a clean sheet @ 1.865/6

Chelsea are unbeaten in 19 Premier League home games against Everton (W10 D9 L0)

If the long-term trend doesn't impress you, perhaps the short-term view will: Chelsea won each of their latest three home collisions with Everton, their joint-longest sequence of the Premier League era against them.

The scorelines of those successes were 3-1, 2-1 and 1-0, leaving 2-0 and 3-0 as the only win margins missing from the standardised set. The west Londoners' last three home league victories were all 2-0s, as indeed have been six of their total ten Premier League triumphs at the Bridge in 2014/15.

Recommended Bet: Back Chelsea to win 2-0 @ 7.06/1

Gary Cahill has scored more Premier League goals against Everton than any other opponent (three)

This is the final match of Diego Costa's ban, but Chelsea haven't been suffering too much so far. One reason for that is that their defenders have been lethal when venturing forwards, contributing three of their last six goals, during a period in which there has been just one from an attacker.

Indeed, there has been at least one goal from a defender in eight of Chelsea's past 13 encounters in all competitions, and Cahill has already notched against the other Merseysiders, Liverpool, this term.

Recommended Bet: Back Cahill to score @ 11.010/1
