Danny Ings is leaning towards Anfield move
Yesterday we had big bucks and big names flying about but today we are most Premier League focused in our transfer talk column
Burnley striker Danny Ings has reportedly turned down the chance to join Real Sociedad and will instead pursue a move to Liverpool.
The 22-year-old has been widely tipped to leave Turf Moor when his current contract expires at the end of this season, with a host of clubs interested.
Former Manchester United boss David Moyes was quick to throw his hat into the ring for Ings and is said to have made a move to bring him to his new club Real Sociedad in January.
While Ings opted to stay with Burnley during the winter transfer window, Sociedad reportedly tried to get him to sign a pre-contract agreement in the hope of beating the other interested sides to his signature.
However, the Daily Mirror claims Ings has rejected the Spanish side's offer and is instead close to agreeing terms with Liverpool over a free transfer.
Staying with Moyes' summer transfer plans and the Daily Express says the Scot will return to another of his former clubs, Everton, to try and sign Bryan Oviedo at the end of the campaign.
The Costa Rica international was brought to Goodison Park by Moyes during his time on Merseyside but has found game time hard to come by under new Toffees boss Roberto Martinez.
Moyes will hope the offer of regular game time at Sociedad could be enough to persuade Oviedo to jump ship.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid are set to end their interest in Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea as he gets set to sign a new deal at Old Trafford.
De Gea's agent will arrive in Manchester this week for another round of talks and the Daily Mail says Real have all but conceded defeat in their bid to prise him away from the Red Devils.
Los Blancos coach Carlo Ancelotti now looks set to stick with his current shot stoppers, Iker Casillas and Keylor Navas, rather than pursue any other targets.
News concerning Everton and Tottenham finally with the London Evening Standard reporting Aaron Lennon wants to make his loan switch from Spurs to the Toffees permanent.
The 27-year-old has been a regular in Martinez's side since moving to Goodison Park in January and has settled into life on Merseyside quickly.
Now the two clubs are discussing a permanent deal for the English winger but the price tag could prove to be a stumbling block as Everton are unwilling to match Spurs' 7million asking price.
