Chelsea are now as short as 1.171/6 on Betfair - the shortest price they've traded at all season - to win the Premier League title after they opened up a seven-point gap at the top of the table today.

It was far from a straightforward afternoon for the Blues at Villa Park, Eden Hazard - matched at 7.613/2 to score first - gave them an early lead before Jores Okore equalised for the home side in the second half, Villa's first league goal in seven matches.

But a terrific Branislav Ivanovic strike midway through the second half sealed the points for Jose Mourinho's side.

Chelsea were matched at 2.3811/8 In-Play to win the game, while the 1-2 Correct Score was matched at 11.5n/a. Okore was backed at 34.033/1 to score at anytime during the contest.

Chelsea's victory was made to look even better however when defending champions Manchester City could only draw 1-1 at home to struggling Hull - a scoreline that was matched at 18.5n/a.

David Meyler gave the Tigers a shock first half lead, rewarding those who backed him at the huge odds of 80.079/1 to score first, and it took an injury-time James Milner free-kick to deny Steve Bruce's men all three points. The Draw was backed at 8.615/2 In-Play.

Manuel Pellegrini's men are now out to 9.08/1 in the Premier League Winner market with 14 matches remaining.

In today's North London Derby Tottenham fans went home with the bragging rights after their side came from a goal behind to beat Arsenal 2-1 at White Hart Lane.

Mesut Ozil was matched at 16.5n/a to open the scoring but two second half goals from that man Harry Kane provided Spurs with a memorable victory in a thoroughly entertaining encounter.

Tottenham were matched at 12.5n/a to win the match with the 2-1 Correct Score hitting a high of 21.020/1. Mauricio Pochetinno's men can now be backed at n/a to claim a Top 4 Finish - Arsenal are trading at 1.51/2.

In the late kick-off Everton and Liverpool played out a disappointing 0-0 draw in the Merseyside Derby - a scoreline that was matched at 13.5n/a with the stalemate being matched at 3.8514/5.

Elsewhere today Southampton grabbed a dramatic last-gasp winner at Loftus Road to take them up to third in the table.

A goalless draw looked inevitable as the game entered the 93rd minute but Sadio Mane fired home into the top corner much to the delight of Ronald Koeman. The Saints were matched at 29.028/1 to win the game and the result means that QPR are without a win in seven league matches and trading at 1.548/15 to be Relegated.

Another club in serious danger of relegation is Leicester who went down 0-1 to Crystal Palace, Joe Ledley scoring the only goal of the game. The Ealges were matched at 4.94/1 to win with the 0-1 Correct Score hitting a high of 11.5n/a.

Finally, Swansea and Sunderland played out an entertaining 1-1 draw at the Liberty Stadium - Jermain Defoe being matched at 9.89/1 to score first and the Draw being matched at 3.953/1.

The Black Cats can be backed at 8.615/2 to go down while Garry Monk's Swans are trading at 1.84/5 for a Top 10 Finish.
