Champions League Treble: Trust Slovenia and Hungary's finest

Debrecen have made the Champions League group stage before

BATE Borisov, NK Maribor and Debrecen are the teams to count on in the latest Champions League qualifiers...

BATE Borisov v Skenderbeu
Tuesday, 18:00
Back BATE Borisov to lead at half-time and full-time @ 1.768/11

BATE Borisov are qualifying-round royalty, navigating a route to the group stage in three of their prior six Champions League excursions. However, the reputation that they carefully constructed by outwitting or equalling the likes of Juventus, AC Milan and Bayern Munich was dented with a double defeat to little known Shakhter Karagandy last term.

A massive chance for redemption is presented by being drawn with Albanian Superliga heavyweights Skenderbeu, who have never netted on their Champions League travels in four prior attempts, suffering half-time/full-time reverses in two of the latter three fixtures.

Zrinjski v NK Maribor
Tuesday, 18:30
Back NK Maribor to win @ 2.111/10

Perennial Slovenian champions NK Maribor know more about the Champions League preliminaries than Gary Neville does the inner workings of the SkyPad. They participated in four of the last five years and survived at least one round each time, progressing through two to the play-off in the last two. In the most recent three, they won their first away tie twice and drew the other one.

A few more horses giddy up for Bosnian title races, so Zrinjski haven't enjoyed as much Champions League exposure. They haven't given as great an account of themselves when involved either, losing 0-4 at home to Luxembourg's Dudelange (after extra time) in their penultimate adventure.

Cliftonville v Debrecen
Tuesday, 19:45
Back Debrecen to win @ 1.84/5

Cliftonville's Champions League record is Brazil-in-a-home-World-Cup-semi-final ugly. The Northern Irish title holders have played four matches in the competition before - including two last season - and not only lost the lot, but haemorrhaged an obscene 18 goals along the way, including eight in two at their Solitude home.

Debrecen are no Real Madrid, to make the day's most obvious statement, but as frequent Hungarian champions - finishing first seven times in the last decade - they have far more experience of this environment than their hosts. They have got through at least one round in their previous three campaigns, reaching the group stage in 2009/10.

A 10 treble provides a 39.50 profit if successful
