Is Danny Ings' long-term future to be at Anfield?
Danny Ings and Yaya Toure are the most interesting names in the first edition of transfer talk this Friday.
Liverpool are set to lodge a bid for Burnley striker Danny Ings as Brendan Rodgers looks to add more firepower.
The BBC understands that Liverpool would be prepared to loan Ings back to the Clarets for the remainder of the campaign if they can agree a deal.
Ings is set to fall out of contract at the end of the season and has attracted interest from Tottenham and Real Sociedad.
Liverpool may chance their arm and wait until the end of the season when they could swoop and take the striker for a compensation fee, due to his age.
Elsewhere, former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has hinted that he may look to take Yaya Toure to Inter Milan in the summer.
Mancini signed Toure from Barcelona in 2010 during his time in charge at City and had a huge impact in converting him into one of the best attacking midfielders in Europe.
The Italian was understood to be keen on signing Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva, but has seen his hopes dashed as the Reds appear unwilling to allow the Brazilian to depart.
The Inter boss is now expected to turn his attention to the Ivorian, according to Sky Sports, although the price could prove to be a stumbling block with Toure regarded as one of the Citizens' most influential players.
Toure is currently under contract at the Etihad Stadium for the next two-and-a-half seasons but has hinted at an exit on a couple of occasions over the last year.
Moving on, Tottenham are hoping to make a late move for Everton winger Kevin Mirallas before the transfer window slams shut on Monday, according to the Mirror.
The Belgium international is understood to have been a target for Spurs throughout January and chairman Daniel Levy is hoping to get it wrapped up as quickly as possible.
Levy is prepared to allow Aaron Lennon to move in the other direction as part of a straight swap, although the Toffees may also ask for a substantial fee as part of the deal.
