Only one of their past 14 road trips ended in defeat and they won nine of those, as well as becoming the first club to deny Chelsea league points at Stamford Bridge in 2014/15 less than a fortnight ago. Stoke have lost five fixtures at the Britannia Stadium since August.

The Eagles have been slow starters all campaign and Alan Pardew hasn't resolved this issue yet.
