Allardyce's team have been formidable at home this season
Andrew Hughes thinks West Ham can beat Manchester United on Sunday and help to land another cross-sport multiple
Bet 1: Back West Ham to beat Manchester United at 3.814/5
Manchester United are not yet consistent enough to challenge for the title but they are back in the Champions League places on merit and Louis van Gaal is gathering a squad capable of better things next season.
Their opponents don't have such lofty ambitions, but in the last twelve months West Ham have improved from relegation candidates to top ten contenders.
The visitors are the better team, but the narrow Upton Park pitch will cramp their attacking style and help the home side to contain the United front line. In their last ten at home, the Hammers have picked up 23 points and are too big a price to win this.
Bet 2: Back Castleford to beat Wakefield at 1.364/11
Castleford enjoyed their best ever Super League season in 2014 and kick off their 2015 campaign with a winnable Yorkshire derby against Wakefield.
The Wildcats can frighten any team on their day, but are some way off being serious play-off contenders and will miss the muscle of Andy Raleigh and Taulima Tautai.
Castleford will have to adjust to life without Daryl Clark this season, but their new signings are reported to have bedded in well and they should be far too strong for a Wildcats side they beat three times last year.
Bet 3: Back Shaun Murphy to beat Mark Selby at 2.01/1
Mark Selby and Shaun Murphy meet for the 35th time in the German Masters final on Sunday. Although their head to head record is evenly matched, in recent years, it has been Selby who has been the more consistent, regularly topping the world rankings before clinching his first World Championship title last year.
But his opponent is experiencing a purple patch. He clinched a career Triple Crown when he won the Masters last year, and earlier this week, overcame Ronnie O'Sullivan in ranking event for the first time. He has beaten Selby in three of their last four matches, including their last meeting in a final, and in his current form should be slight favourite. Back Murphy to edge it.
