Cross-Sport Multiple: Back Arsenal to down Swans

Arsene can end a disappointing week with a win

Andrew Hughes thinks Arsenal will return from South Wales with all three points and help to land another Sunday cross-sport multiple

Bet 1: Back Arsenal to beat Swansea at 2.111/10

Arsenal don't go into this game in the best of shape, following their surrender of a three goal lead against Anderlecht in midweek, but I think they can return to winning ways on Sunday against a tidy but unthreatening Swansea side.

Swansea are solid at home, but they've run out of steam in recent weeks, having won just one of their last seven in the Premier League, whereas Arsenal have won their last two league games without conceding a goal. In a contest between two sides who like to keep the ball, you'd expect the Gunners to come out on top, and they're undefeated in their last five matches against the Swans. Back the visitors for the win.

Bet 2: Back India to beat Sri Lanka at 1.444/9

Sri Lanka's one day international side was offered by their board as a late replacement for the West Indies, whose tour of India ended amid controversy, and as you might expect, the under-prepared Sri Lankans have struggled so far.

After they were skittled out for 194 in the opener, their batsmen faired better on Thursday, posting a reasonable 274, but their makeshift bowling line-up failed to contain India, who raced to their target with more than five overs to spare. Sri Lanka are a decent one day side and we can't rule out a fight-back at some stage, but I can't see it happening on Sunday. Back India for the win.

Bet 3: Back Atlanta Falcons to beat Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 1.664/6

Atlanta head into week ten of the NFL, knowing that one more defeat between now and the end of the season would spell the end of their play-offs hopes. So a fixture against lowly Tampa Bay is just what they need.

Much depends on quarterback Matt Ryan and the Falcons' passing offence, but they will be up against one of the worst pass defences in the NFL, and having had a bye last weekend, the Falcons have had extra time to prepare. Their 2-6 record isn't a true reflection of their talent and they can start to put it right on Sunday.
