Liverpool should be too strong for Palace on Sunday
Andrew Hughes thinks Liverpool will pick up three points in south London and help to land another Sunday cross-sport multiple
Bet 1: Back Liverpool to beat Crystal Palace at 1.910/11
Liverpool head to south London on Sunday knowing that they haven't won on any of their last five visits to Selhurst Park, and no doubt with vivid memories of May's spectacular collapse there that all but ended their title hopes.
This time round, the Reds are languishing in mid-table and struggling for form, but I think they will battle their way to a point against a Palace side that look like relegation candidates, having won only once at home all season.
And whilst they are some way off the pace when it comes to the Premiership title race, Liverpool have the class to see off the poorer teams in the division. They've twice won away from home in London this season and can make it three on Sunday.
Bet 2: Back Bangladesh to beat Zimbabwe at 1.331/3
Zimbabwe managed to draw the opening game of their tour to Bangladesh, but since then it's been one defeat after another. They lost all three Tests and the start of the one day international series on Friday brought no relief.
The margin of defeat in Chittagong was a hefty 87 runs and I expect a similar outcome on Sunday. Zimbabwe have won eleven times in Bangladesh, but seven of those wins came before 2005 and they've only tasted success once in their last ten on Bangladeshi soil. Back the home side to pick up another victory.
Bet 3: Back Arizona to beat Seattle at 3.55/2
Such has been the NFL dominance of the Seattle Seahawks that although Arizona Cardinals head to Century Link Field with a 9-1 record, they are the clear underdogs on Sunday against the reigning champions.
But Seattle go into this game in third place in the NFC West Division, having already being beaten four time this season, whereas the Cardinals are on a streak of six consecutive victories. They will also draw confidence from the fact that they won this fixture last year, 17-10, when they were also big underdogs. Back the visitors to win.
