Mauricio Pochettino has got used to Spurs playing with ten men
The Opta stats hint at a win for Newcastle, setback for Liverpool, concession for Chelsea and Craig Pawson giving his red card a workout...
Chelsea v West Brom (Saturday, 15:00)
Chelsea have won just one of the last five Premier League games against West Brom
With Chelsea four points clear at the top of the Premier League having taken 29 points from an available 33, including 15 out of 15 at Stamford Bridge, West Brom's excellent recent record against the Blues is under threat. However, they should at the very least score, as they have done in six of their previous seven meetings with the leaders. Jose Mourinho's men have gone five matches without a clean sheet.
Recommended Bet: Back Chelsea not to keep a clean sheet @ 2.111/10
Newcastle v QPR (Saturday, 15:00)
Newcastle won all four Premier League games last November and have won both so far this month
The omens are so positive for Newcastle that it seems remarkable that they are available to back so close to the evens mark. The Magpies are on a five-match winning streak in which Tottenham, Man City and Liverpool were conquered, they have won five in six against QPR and the Hoops have got some terrible away figures this season: six defeats from six across all competitions, scoring two and conceding 15.
Recommended Bet: Back Newcastle to win @ 1.865/6
Crystal Palace v Liverpool (Sunday, 13:30, Sky Sports 1)
Liverpool have won none of the last five at Selhurst Park in all competitions (W0 D2 L3)
This was supposed to be the weekend in which Liverpool's flagging campaign got a reboot. Instead, not only are they still without Daniel Sturridge, there is also uncertainty over whether Mario Balotelli will be fit for the trip to the ground where they comprised to draw 3-3 in May having led 3-0 with 12 minutes to play. That 3-3 was actually their best result in three at Selhurst Park, as they lost their two prior visits.
Recommended Bet: Lay Liverpool to win @ 1.9310/11
Hull v Tottenham (Sunday, 16:00, Sky Sports 1)
Tottenham have earned more red cards in the Premier League in 2014 than any other team (six)
There are three arguments to be made for a red card at the KC Stadium. The first is the bolded stat above, while the second is that Tottenham's 2014/15 Premier League fixtures have featured more dismissals than any other club's, with three of their players entering the bathing zone before the conventional time as well as two of the opposition's. Finally, Hull have already had someone sent off in a home game - James Chester against Stoke.
Recommended Bet: Back there to be a sending off @ 5.59/2
