Opta Stats: Manchester City v Tottenham Hotspur

Can Manuel Pellegrini's Manchester City side continue their upwards trajectory with a win over Tottenham?

Manchester City can put the pressure on league leaders Chelsea with an early Saturday victory over Spurs. Opta rates their chances.

Manchester City have won six of their last seven Premier League meetings with Tottenham Hotspur (L1). City are 1.4840/85 to win.

Tottenham have secured 20 wins against Manchester City in the Premier League - only against Everton (20) have they won as many. Spurs are 8.07/1 to pull off a shock victory.

The last six Premier League games between Man City and Spurs have produced 30 goals (five per game on average), with City scoring 22 of these goals. Over 4.5 goals is priced at 5.04/1.

Edin Dzeko has scored six goals in six Premier League games against Spurs; more than versus any other opponent. Dzeko is 2.26/5 to win.

Four of these goals came in one game (August 2011). Dzeko is 26.025/1 to score a hat-trick.
