Manuel Pellegrini saw his side let slip a 0-2 lead in Moscow
Manchester City's Champions League hopes hang by a thread after letting slip a two-goal lead in Moscow, but Chelsea record a comfortable win at Stamford Bridge. Mike Norman details all tonight's In-Play odds action...
Manchester City are out to 27.026/1 to win the Champions League after they failed to convert a 0-2 lead away to CSKA Moscow meaning the Citizens have taken just two points from their opening three group games.
It all looked to be going as planned for Manuel Pellegrini's men after first half goals from Sergio Aguero and James Milner put them in a commanding position.
But perhaps the turning point came when City failed to make it 0-3 just before the interval when first Milner struck the post, and then Aguero was just inches away from sliding in to score his second of the night.
The 0-2 Half Time Score was matched at 21.020/1 while Aguero was a popular First Goalscorer selection at 5.85/1.
But back came the home side in the second half and they deservedly reduced the arrears when Seydou Doumbia broke the offside trap to score from close range.
And it was Doumbia who was involved in Moscow's controversial equaliser when he appeared to go down easily when challenged by Aleksandar Kolarov in the box with just five minutes to go.
Bebras Natcho scored from the spot to leave Pellegrini's men in a perilous position in Group E.
Not surprisingly Man City traded at just 1.031/33 when two goals up, but it was the Draw - matched at 34.033/1 - that prevailed, while the 2-2 Correct Score hit a high of 38.037/1 in running.
The night did improve for City however as later in the evening Bayern Munich thumped Roma 1-7, a result that gives the Manchester side a chance of finishing second in the group ahead of the Italian outfit.
Chelsea recorded their second successive Group G victory thanks to a comfortable 6-0 win over NK Maribor at Stamford Bridge.
Loic Remy - matched at 5.39/2 to score first - put the home side in front but injured himself in the process and had to go off shortly after, and it was his replacement Didier Drogba who scored a penalty to put Jose Mourinho's men in cruise control.
John Terry added Chelsea's third after running the length off the pitch to tap home a Cesc Fabregas cross, and that goal will have been cheered by those who backed the Any Unquoted Half Time Score (any side to score at least three) at 11.010/1.
A Maribor own goal extended Chelsea's lead early in the second half after some good play by the excellent Eden Hazard, before the Slovenian outfit missed a penalty only to see Hazard score a spot-kick of his own at the other end. And the Belgian added a superb sixth goal on the night on the stroke of full-time.
The 6-0 Correct Score was matched at a high of 50.049/1 In-Play.
After tonight's results Bayern Munich remain the favourites at 4.77/2 to lift the trophy next May, just ahead of Real Madrid, 5.14/1, and Barcelona, 7.06/1, while Chelsea can also be backed at 7.06/1 to win their first Chammpions League under Mourinho.
