Romelu Lukaku is in pursuit of his 20th goal for Everton
Opta's insights highlight Saido Berahino, Wilfried Bony, Romelu Lukaku and Christian Eriksen as likely weekend scorers...
West Brom v Crystal Palace (Saturday, 15:00)
No English player has scored as many Premier League goals so far this season as Saido Berahino (6)
Berahino's career figures for West Brom now read 16 strikes in 23 starts, offering a strong indication that the 21-year-old might just live up to the intense hype which surrounds him at present. The England U21 international has scored five in four for the Baggies, and Opta have noted that six of his overall seven for them in 2014/15 were converted in front of his adoring fans at The Hawthorns.
Recommended Bet: Back Berahino to score @ 2.767/4
Swansea v Leicester (Saturday, 17:30, Sky Sports 1)
Wilfried Bony has scored in his last two Premier League appearances for Swansea
Second-season syndrome can afflict players who handle the initial step up to the Premier League supremely as well as promoted clubs, but Bony doesn't look likely to be a victim. The Ivorian attacker, who scored 25 goals in all competitions in 2013/14 after joining Swansea from Vitesse, started this campaign slowly before striking against both Newcastle and Stoke this month.
Recommended Bet: Back Bony to score @ 2.526/4
Burnley v Everton (Sunday, 13:30, Sky Sports 1)
Romelu Lukaku has now scored 18 Premier League goals for Everton
Expectations of Lukaku at Everton were already pretty high last term due to his West Brom exploits and they have risen considerably since owing to both his 16 goals on loan to the Toffees and the monster 28 million fee paid to take him from Chelsea. His first month since signing permanently wasn't great; however, he has improved since to net in three of his last five Premier League games.
Recommended Bet: Back Lukaku to score @ 2.47/5
Tottenham v Newcastle (Sunday, 13:30)
Christian Eriksen has scored in his last two Premier League appearances
Tottenham's front men haven't delivered thus far this Premier League season. Emmanuel Adebayor has scored one in seven starts, as Roberto Soldado and Harry Kane have fired blanks in a combined one start and six cameos off the bench (Kane has grabbed six in the cups though to hint that he is being underused). Similarly to Nacer Chadli, Eriksen has picked up the slack, notching three times in Spurs' most recent five league matches, during which they have managed only five goals in total.
Recommended Bet: Back Eriksen to score @ 3.55/2
