IFK Goteborg vs Hacken
Sunday 14:00
Sunday afternoon and Betfair Live Video brings you a derby from Gothenburg as IFK host Hacken.
With Malmo seemingly running away with the league the race is on for the remaining European spots. IFK sit in third but will be looking to win this Sunday's derby and move up to second to give themselves a cushion as they attempt to hold on to their Europa League qualification place.
IFK Coach Mikael Stahre had his team in red hot form and unbeaten in eleven before a 3-0 humbling on a trip to face Norkopping last time out. That result came as a shock however at home at their Gamla Ulleva Stadium they are reliable performers and they will be in search of their fifth straight home win on Sunday.
All eyes will be on IFK' talismanic forward and the league's top scorer Lasse Vibe, after a stellar season in Gothenburg he has earned himself a place in the Danish national side and scored his first goal for his country last weekend.
City rivals Hacken sit just two place and four points below IFK and need to at least to avoid defeat as they try to climb into the top three. Hacken matches have been very unpredictable recently and they are becoming notoriously inconsistent but their recent away record has been good scoring sixteen goals on their last five trips.
However despite their success going forward recently Hacken have been porous at the back and have now gone seven games without a clean sheet.
Expect goals in Gothenburg this Sunday, it should be entertaining, IFK are looking strong at home and are undefeated in six of the last seven of these derbies. Back the hosts to take the spoils.
Recommended Bets:
Back IFK Goteborg to win @ 2.0421/20
Back over 3.5 goals @ 32/1
Internacional vs Corinthians
Sunday 19:00
Sunday evening and action from the Brazilian Campeonato, a league that has become increasingly exciting recently as Cruzeiro's seemingly unassailable lead has crumbled.
Although still top Cruzeiro are doing their utmost to throw away all their hard work from earlier in the season and have now suffered three straight losses. Suddenly the chasing pack have realised they still have a shot at glory. With ten games to play the title and the Copa Libertadores places are very much still up for grabs.
No team looks more hungry than Porto Alegre's Internacional. They are in second spot now just six points off the lead and have won their last five at home and eleven from fourteen, they certainly seem to have the bit between their teeth.
Last week coach Abel Braga saw his team claim a big win over Fluminense at the Beira Rio and the stadium will be rocking as they welcome Corinthians this Sunday.
Braga welcomes back veteran keeper Dida after suspension and it looks likely that new striker Nilmar will get a start up front but Andres D'Alessandro will remain the key to the side, he got both assists last week and look for him to pull the strings this Sunday.
Visitors Corinthians are on an awful run and it's surprising that they are not further down the table than sixth. They have only managed one goal in their last six league matches and have lost seven of their last nine away trips.
Pressure is certainly mounting on coach Mano Menezes especially after this week's embarrassing cup exit. That match on Thursday will not have helped their preparation for their trip to Porto Alegre and they will no doubt be the more fatigued of the teams.
Back the hosts to be victorious, they are the fresher team, the more dangerous team and seem to have the belief that they can now mount a serious title challenge.
Recommended bets:
Back Internacional to win @ 1.981/1
