Andre Ayew has been linked with Liverpool move
Raheem Sterling has been linked with a big money move in the past fortnight on several occasions but Real Madrid are saying they aren't interested. That and all the other big Monday transfer rumours brought to you by Alex Johnson.
Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has laughed off reports he wants Liverpool's Raheem Sterling just days before the two side's clash.
The England international has been linked with big-money moves to Paris Saint-Germain and Real recently, as the Reds look to tie the 19-year-old down to a new contract.
Liverpool play host to Real Madrid in the Champions League this week and ahead of the game Ancelotti has been asked whether the trip to Merseyside could be something of a scouting mission.
The European champions have now distanced themselves from talk of a move for Sterling, with Ancelotti being quoted by The Sun as saying they are already well stocked for forwards.
"Sterling is a player of great quality, certainly one of the best in Europe," he told The Sun.
"But we already have extraordinary talent here."
Meanwhile, Ancelotti has told the same newspaper that Real will not allow Cristiano Ronaldo to leave the Bernabeu.
The Portuguese superstar, who has scored 15 goals in seven La Liga games this season, has been strongly linked with a return to Manchester United recently after expressing his dissatisfaction with the club's transfer policy.
However, Ancelotti says he is "100% certain" Ronaldo will remain with Real for next season.
More disappointing transfer news for United next with the Daily Mail claiming Barcelona's Dani Alves does not have a deal in place to join the Old Trafford outfit next summer.
The Brazilian right-back will become a free agent at the end of the season when his contract expires and has stated he will be joining a Premier League team.
However, Barca have not given up on Alves and are said to be continuing negotiations with the 31-year-old.
Should United fail to land Alves then the Daily Express are reporting that they could turn to Torino full-back Matteo Darmian.
The 24-year-old can play on either side of defence and the Italians are said to be ready to part with Darmian if they receive an offer in the region of 15million.
Away from Old Trafford, and Liverpool are said to be leading the race to sign the much-sought after Andre Ayew.
A host of Premier League clubs, including Everton, Hull City and Swansea are all said to be interested but the Reds have stolen a march on their rivals, according to the Daily Star.
The Marseille forward will become a free agent in the summer and Liverpool are said to have a deal in place to take him to Anfield.
