Both teams are aiming to get to the top division of Brazil
Relegated from the Brazilian top flight last year, Nautico are looking to bounce straight back and Paul Robinson thinks that they can earn at least a draw at Boa.
Boa v Nautico
Wednesday October 22, 00:50 BST
Following a run of four straight defeats, Boa got their season back on track with a 3-0 success over Vila Nova last time. While Vila Nova are only second from bottom, it was a welcome victory after losing the previous four to nil - albeit with three of them coming against teams in the top four.
Nedo Xavier's side have actually been very impressive on home soil this term as the Varginha based club have won nine from 15 in front of their own fans. They are vulnerable though - as defeats by America Mineiro, Santa Cruz, Vasco da Gama and Ponte Preta suggest - and they will find this much tougher than Vila Nova.
Nautico have managed to shake off their relegation quite well as they are sixth in Serie B - just seven points adrift of the promotion places. There are only eight games to go though so draws - even on the road - might not be good enough.
'Timbu' come into this match having lost just one of their last half dozen - three of which were wins. Sidney Moraes' men are unbeaten in three away from home and they have avoided defeat in five of their last seven on their travels.
This looks like quite a tight affair on paper, so with the hosts trading at around the 1.9520/21 mark, I have to make them my lay of the day.
