Cross-Sport Multiple: Back the draw at Old Trafford

Jose may have to settle for a point on Sunday

Andrew Hughes thinks Manchester United can hold the current Premier League pace-setters on Sunday and help to land another cross-sport multiple

Bet 1: Back Manchester United to draw with Chelsea at 3.412/5

Last season, Jose Mourinho set his side up to earn a point in away games against his Premier League rivals, and whilst he may no longer put Manchester United in that category, he will be wary of underestimating his old boss Louis van Gaal.

United are no nearer to being title challengers this season, but whilst their defence remains as shaky as last year, they are at least more potent up front, having scored thirteen goals in their last five.

Chelsea will be set up to counter that threat, and with Diego Costa still recovering from a virus and a hamstring problem, may not be quite so dangerous up front themselves. Back the Blues to come away with a point.

Bet 2: Back Leinster to beat Castres at 1.75/7

Playing a French side on their home soil is always tough, but Leinster should emerge victorious from their encounter with Castres at the Stade Pierre Antoine on Sunday.

After a difficult start to their Pro12 campaign, which included defeats by Connacht and Munster, Leinster signed off domestically with a win over Zebre and carried that form into their opening European Champions Cup match against Wasps last time.

They head to France boasting a 3-1 head to head record against the French side, who were crushed by Harlequins in their opening European fixture and who have lost seven of their ten Top 14 games this season. Back Leinster to win.

Bet 3: Back Dominic Dale to beat Ian Burns at 1.42/5

The International Championship is the most valuable snooker tournament outside the UK and amongst Sunday's first round matches, world-ranked number 24 Dominic Dale is a solid bet to progress at the expense of qualifier Ian Burns.

Last time they met, Burns won 4-0, but I'd expect the result to be different this time. Burns has lost three of his last five and has not been beyond the second round of any tournament so far this season, whereas Dale has reached the semi-final of the 6-Reds World Championship and the last 16 of the Shanghai Masters, beating Judd Trump along the way. Back the Welshman to prevail.
