So Lukas, not keen on a move to Spurs then...?
Lukas Podolski has been linked with moves away from Arsenal for months but how about to Spurs? Not if the German has anything to say about it...
Tottenham's chances of luring Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski across north London have ended with the player ruling out a move.
Reports in a number of the British papers suggested Tottenham were looking to do a deal in the region of 10million with their arch rivals to bring the Germany international to White Hart Lane.
However, Podolski, in no uncertain terms, has ruled out a switch of allegiances after he tweeted: "Hell will freeze over before this transfer would happen".
That is not to say a move away from the Emirates won't happen in the January window, with reports from Italy still suggesting that both Napoli and Juventus are looking to do a deal for the 29-year-old World Cup winner.
Meanwhile, the Daily Star are suggesting Manchester United will looking to bring Gerard Pique back to Old Trafford in a bid to bolster their troublesome defence. United, who have failed to win a Premier League game away from home this season after their 2-2 draw with West Brom on Monday, continue to leak goals and manager Louis van Gaal is certain to sign a centre-back in January. The reports suggests United are willing to pay in the region of 20million to try and bring Pique back to United.
Moving back to London and The Sun claims Chelsea are keeping close tabs on Marseille's France Under-21 midfielder Giannelli Imbula following the club's storming start to the Ligue 1 campaign. Imbula's performances across the Channel have not gone unnoticed by the Blues and the playmaker could be set for a change of scene, but he would face stiff competition for a place in the starting line-up at Stamford Bridge.

The Daily Express is refusing to drop the rumours surrounding Real Madrid's Sami Khedira, who is out of contract at the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer. Manchester United are believed to be ready to offer the Germany international a 5.5million-a-year contract to try and beat rivals Chelsea and Arsenal to the player's signature.
Finally, reports from Italy claim Manchester City are preparing a 15million bid for Milan's Keisuke Honda in January. Corriere dello Sport believes the Japan international could be on his way to the Etihad Stadium after a stuttering start to life in Serie A and Milan might well be tempted to allow the 28-year-old to move on to pastures new.
