Opta Stats: Arsenal v Hull City

Arsene Wenger will be contemplating an Arsenal victory when they face Hull.

After a poor start to the season, Arsenal have the chance to bounce back into the top four with a victory over Hull. Opta are on hand with all the stats.

Arsenal have won their last five Premier League games against Hull City, since losing their first ever PL meeting in September 2008. The Gunners are 1.444/9 to win.

Nikica Jelavic has already equalled his Premier League goal tally from 2013-14 in just seven games this season (4). He played 25 times last season. Jelavic is 4.57/2 to score.

Jelavic now has eight goals in 23 Premier League games for Hull City - only Geovanni (11) has more goals in the competition for the Tigers. He is 11.010/1 to score the first goal.

The Gunners have won just one of their last six Premier League matches (W1 D4 L1); this after winning their previous six in a row. You can lay Arsenal at 1.454/9.

No Arsenal player has assisted more than one goal in the Premier League this season. Seven Arsenal players have one assist to their name, as many as former Gunner Cesc Fabregas has alone (7) for Chelsea. Under 2.5 goals is 2.35/4.

The Gunners have not lost back to back Premier League matches since January 2013. A draw is priced at 5.14/1.

This is Arsenal's joint-second worst league start to a season under Arsene Wenger (10 points from seven games, same as 98/99) - the worst being 2011-12 (seven points from seven games). You can lay Arsenal finishing in the top four at 1.51/2.

Hull City have not won back to back Premier League games since September 2013, despite winning nine matches since then. They are 8.88/1 to pull off a shock victory.

The Tigers have won just one of their last 12 Premier League trips to London (W1 D2 L9), but this victory came in their only trip to the capital this season (1-0 at QPR in August). The odds of them winning by the same scoreline are 27.026/1.
