They say a good performer should always leave the audience wanting more, and our good friend Tobias Gourlay finished the week with a flourish, as a 2-0 win for Longford at Finn Harps netted a 2.166/5 winner from the Both Teams To Score market. Lovely stuff.

As TG moves into the cryogenic pod for a week to recharge, we begin our journey in Italy, and a Serie B clash between Varese and Cittadella. Neither of these teams have made a storming start to the campaign, and they are in the bottom half of the 22-team behemoth that is Italy's second division.

The Leopards of Varese are languishing in 18th spot, having won just two of their seven matches. They have shown they can score goals, having put five past 10th-placed Trapani in their last home game, but their defending leaves a lot to be desired. Varese are yet to keep a single clean sheet in the league this term, and only Trapani have a worse goals-against tally.

Cittadella, or Citta if you prefer, are also struggling. Claudio Foscarini's side are 15th in the standings, having lost four of their opening seven league matches. Much like Varese, Cittadella can score but can't keep the ball out at the other end - they are without a clean sheet but have scored in all but one of their league matches.

There are a couple of ways to go here, and both involve the presumption that this match-up will yield plenty of goals. You could back Yes in the Both Teams To Score market at 1.9720/21, and in the 14 games these two have played between them this season, that bet would've paid out 11 times.

I'm going to recommend Over 2.5 Goals at a seemingly generous 2.3611/8. Four of Varese's seven league games have featured three goals or more, which is also true of five of Citta's seven outings.
