Anderlecht v Borussia Dortmund

Match Odds: Anderlecht 6.05/1, Borussia Dortmund 1.664/6, The Draw 4.3100/30

A 1-2 reverse to Revierderby rivals Schalke confirmed the extent of Dortmund's dreary Bundesliga start. They have just seven points after six matches - admittedly a position that they won the title from in 2011/12 - overseeing more losses than victories and going three fixtures without the latter.

Thankfully, the malaise doesn't seem to have seeped into their Champions League work judging by the dominant manner with which they vanquished Arsenal in their Group D opener. Jurgen Klopp's technicians have triumphed in three of their past four European away dates, while Anderlecht were beaten in their previous four home Champions League group ties.

Recommended Bet: Back Borussia Dortmund to win @ 1.664/6

Atletico Madrid v Juventus

Match Odds: Atletico Madrid 2.26/5, Juventus 4.03/1, The Draw 3.3512/5

Think how much you were impressed by Roma in their 1-1 draw at Man City and then consider this: Juventus finished 17 points ahead of them last season and have been (marginally) superior early on in this one too. Their first six games under new coach Max Allegri have delivered six wins, every single one to nil.

The Bianconeri's only defeats in 17 Champions League encounters since returning to the competition in 2012 came 0-2 to Bayern Munich (twice), 1-2 to Real Madrid and 0-1 to Galatasaray in unplayable conditions. Allegri cleared the group stage in all four of his campaigns with AC Milan, overachieving really given their decline, and lost a mere three of his 12 road trips in this round.

Recommended Bet: Lay Atletico Madrid to win @ 2.226/5

Ludogorets v Real Madrid

Match Odds: Ludogorets 18.017/1, Real Madrid 1.211/5, The Draw 8.415/2

Ludogorets left a decent impression on their Champions League proper debut against Liverpool but, as the odds suggest, this should prove even trickier. Real Madrid are finding form after an awkward domestic start, fired five past capable FC Basel in their first Group B clash and scored three or more in six of their initial nine continental clashes last term.

However, the hosts can take some encouragement from how Real tend to become more generous defensively when their attack is at its most devastating. In addition to recent 5-1 against FC Basel, 2013/14 produced a 6-1 at Galatasaray, a 4-1 in the return and 6-1 and 3-1 legs against Schalke. Ludogorets netted in every 2013/14 Europa League group tie.

Recommended Bet: Back both teams to score @ 2.0621/20
