Atletico Rafaela are still in the top flight this year thanks to their relegation play-off victory over Colon. They didn't finish at the bottom of the table - eighth in the first semester and 16th in the second - but because of the three year relegation average which was in use at the time, they ended dead level with Colon in the last remaining relegation place.

Roberto Sensini is the new man in charge for this season and he hasn't endured the finest start as they were beaten 3-0 at newly promoted Independiete. That match went over 2.5 goals and so have five of their last seven in front of their own fans in the league - with the two that missed out doing so by just a single goal.

Lanus finished as runners up in the Torneo Inicial last year but then only managed to come ninth in the Torneo Final. They were perhaps concentrating on the Copa Libertadores during that time, however that ended in disappointment at the quarter-final stage.

As far as the goals go, Guillermo Barros Schelotto's men had exactly half of their league fixtures go over 2.5 goals last year, with their matches averaging the highest amount of goals during the first semester. They did dry up a touch in the second, but their games still averaged a healthy 2.32 goals per 90 minutes and it has to be noted that both matches between this pair finished with three goals.

All things considered, with under 2.5 goals trading at around the 1.695/7 mark, I have to make it my lay of the day.
