There's an MLS fixture taking place late tonight and Paul Robinson is expecting less than three goals when Dallas take on Real Salt Lake.
Dallas v Real Salt Lake
Saturday August 23, 02:00 BST
Dallas are having an excellent season thus far and a nine game unbeaten streak has pushed them up to third in the Western Conference. They are three points behind the top two, but more importantly, they have an eight point cushion over Portland Timbers in sixth, with the top five making the Final Series.
The goals have been flowing of late for scar Pareja's side and they fired five past the SJ Earthquakes at the weekend. Interestingly though, three of their last seven have gone under 2.5 goals and when these two met in May, the score was 0-0 - with the previous fixture finishing 1-1.
Real Salt Lake are riding high at the top of the Western Conference but the Seattle Sounders are level on points with them and have a game in hand. They come into this match without a defeat in six and they've won their last three.
As far as the goals go, with 38 scored and 28 conceded, their fixtures this term are averaging 2.75 goals each time. It's worth looking at their recent results on the road though as their last four scorelines have been 1-1, 1-0, 1-0 and 0-1.
This match could go either way in terms of both the result and goals. That's why, with over 2.5 goals trading as low as 1.865/6, I have to make it my lay of the day.
