Cruzeiro vs Botafogo
Sunday 17:00

Time to check in with the reigning champions Cruzeiro as they host struggling Botafogo.

Just a few weeks ago this fixture would have been a formality as Cruzeiro looked all set to comfortably retain their title but suddenly their form abandoned them and they have now won just once in their last five.

With their form stuttering their challengers have picked up and with seven games to go their lead has been cut to just five points.

They need to kickstart their home record which has been poor recently however in total they have won eleven from fifteen at the Mineirao and have notched thirty four goals, on their day they are unplayable.

Marcelo Moreno and Ricardo Goulart have been deadly up top and expect them both to start. Despite the looming Copa do Brasil semi final second leg against Santos and a host of minor injury worries 'Raposa' need to get back on track and head coach Marcelo Oliviera will look for his team to make a statement on Sunday to discourage their rivals.

Rio giants Botafogo picked up a huge derby win over Flamengo last weekend but remain in trouble. Vagner Mancini's team are in the relegation zone and their away form is truly horrific.

They have picked up just five points from fifteen games on their travels this season and look to be canon fodder fro the champs. This Sunday they will be without Wallyson who has looked their main threat recently and that will only further lessen their chances.

Charleroi vs Club Brugge
Sunday 19:00
Action from the Jupiler League as Charleroi host Club Brugge at the Stade de Pays.

Felice Mazzu's Sporting Charleroi team have endured an inconsistent start to the season. Last week they were hammered 5-2 by Lokeren and dropped to eleventh place in the league.

Whilst the 'Zebras' away form has been poor, their performances on their own patch have been impressive and they have won four from five.

Their new French striker Lynel Kitambala has started the season well and will be their man threat on Sunday as they take on one of Belgiam's title favourites.

Free scoring Club Brugge look likely to be Anderlecht's strongest rivals this season in the hunt for the title, and are currently three points off the leaders.

Coach Michel Preud'Homme has his team purring, they are the highest scorers in the league, they bagged four away to Mouscron last week and that made it fourteen goals from their away trips already.

With Refaelov picking the passes and Castillo and De Sutter up top they have a potent attack and should have too much for Charleroi to handle. Tom De Sutter has four in his last two games and will lead the charge.Expect both teams to score but the visitors to take the spoils.
Recommended Bets:
Back Club Brugge to win @ 1.814/5
Back Over 3.5 Goals @ 32/1
