Transfer Rumours: Marouane Fellaini back to Everton?

Could we see Marouane Fellaini like this again in the future?

Marouane Fellaini back to Everton? Stranger things have happens and oh, Cristiano Ronaldo is being linked with Manchester United...again.

Sky Sports are reporting that Cristiano Ronaldo will move back to Manchester United in two years' time.

The Portuguese winger has regularly spoken about his desire to one day return to Old Trafford but it appears Real Madrid want to keep him until at least 2016 following the recent spate of big name departures from the Bernabeu.

Chelsea are said to be leading the race to sign Everton starlet Ross Barkley, according to the Daily Express.

The midfielder was linked with a 35million move to Manchester City over the summer but the Citizens have now ended their interest after being quoted a possible fee of 50million, a valuation the Blues are believed to be keen to match.

The same paper has also linked Liverpool with a move for free agent Victor Valdes once he returns from his long-term knee injury.

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is believed to be growing impatient with the inconsistent Simon Mignolet and believes bringing in the 32-year-old, who is still looking for a club after leaving Barcelona, could help stabilise his leaky defence as they try to once again challenge for the title.

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is reportedly considering a move for Everton's Seamus Coleman and former Toffee Marouane Fellaini could be involved in the deal, according to Caught Offside.

To the other end of the table and the Shields Gazette says Sunderland boss Gus Poyet was offered a number of free agents in recent weeks but will only add to his squad in January as he wants to give his current squad a chance to prove themselves.

West Brom have been handed a boost in their battle against the drop after confirming on their official website that in-form defender Craig Dawson has agreed a new three-year contract after a summer of speculation regarding his future.

Finally and Ashley Cole has told a press conference he is happy at Roma, despite suggestions he could look for a January move back to the Premier League after struggling to settle in Italy.
