Colombian ace is latest Manchester United target - Transfer Rumours

Jay Rodriguez isn't going anywhere...apparently

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal clearly has some money in the kitty and the latest player linked would set him back the best part of 30million. Alex Johnson rounds up all the transfer gossip speculation.

The Daily Star claims that Manchester United have become the latest club to join the race to sign Fiorentina ace Juan Cuadrado.

The Red Devils have reportedly made a bid of 29.5million for the winger, who was a key member of Colombia's World Cup squad this summer.

Cuadrado is also wanted by Barcelona and United boss Louis van Gaal has refused to discuss any deal for Cuadrado in case Fiorentina's asking price rises.

Meanwhile, the Daily Express report that United are stalling in their pursuit of Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal, as Van Gaal has doubts over his fitness.

Vidal, who starred for Chile at the World Cup, picked up a knee injury last season but he still made a vital contribution as he helped Juventus win their third Serie A title in a row.

Elsewhere, the Daily Mirror suggest that Celtic keeper Fraser Forster will leave the club to join Southampton, if the Hoops fail to qualify for the UEFA Champions League. Celtic must overturn a 4-1 deficit in their third qualifying round tie against Legia Warsaw to qualify.

The Saints have reportedly agreed an 8million fee with the Scottish giants for the England international.

Staying with Southampton and chairman Ralph Krueger has told the Daily Telegraph that Morgan Schneiderlin and Jay Rodriguez will be staying with the club this summer.

Krueger insists the south coast club will be selling no more players before the start of the new season, even though Schneiderlin is looking to join former boss Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham.

West Ham look to have missed out on Bosnian World Cup star Vedad Ibisevic, according to reports in the Daily Star.

The Stuttgart striker, who scored against Argentina at this summer's tournament in Brazil, is wanted by the Hammers as they look to cope without Andy Carroll.

Carroll is out until December due to an ankle ligament injury and Ibisevic was wanted to lead the line at the start of the season, but Stuttgart are hoping to tie him down to a new contract.

Sport 360 insist that AC Milan striker Robinho will not be joining Al Jazira this summer.

The Abu Dhabi side could lose Abdelaziz Barrada after Porto and Marseille made a move for the 25-year-old playmaker. Reports had suggested that Robino would be his replacement with the Brazilian destined to leave AC Milan.

However, Sport 360 have been told that the club have no plans to open talks with the former Manchester City striker, who looks likely now to join Santos.
