The goals are set to flow in Brazil tonight according to Paul Robinson as he thinks under 2.5 has to be opposed in the Serie B clash between Avai and America MG.

Avai are currently sitting in sixth place in the Brazilian second tier and with four earning promotion to the top flight, they have made a decent start at going up. It is two without a win in the league for them though and they will be keen to take maximum points here and close the gap on the teams above them.

The 'Lion of the Island' have scored 15 and conceded 14 to give their matches an average of 1.93 goals each time. While that is quite low, five of their 15 have still gone over 2.5 - including three of their last five at home.

America MG are one of the clubs above Avai in the table as they are in third after taking 26 points from a possible 14. Like their opponents, recent results haven't been that great. Two of their last three have been defeats and while they had won the two prior to that spell, before that they earned one point from four fixtures.

As far as the goals go, with 22 scored and 15 conceded, their matches are averaging 2.47 goals per 90 minutes. Moacir Jnior's men have had seven of their 15 go over 2.5 and two of their last four on the road have had exactly three goals.

It's probably around 50/50 as to whether this bet lands, so with it trading as low as 1.728/11, I have to make it my lay of the day.
