Cross-Sport Multiple: Back Reds for three points in Birmingham

No wonder he's miserable: he has to watch Villa every week

Andrew Hughes thinks Liverpool will be too strong for a lacklustre Aston Villa side and will help land a Saturday cross-sport multiple in the process

Bet 1: Back Liverpool to beat Aston Villa at 1.910/11

Liverpool don't look particularly fluent at the moment, but they are finding ways to win and climbing back up the table. They've won three of their last four Premier League games including gritty away wins against Sunderland and Burnley and can grind out another victory against one of the division's poorer sides.

Aston Villa are currently thirteenth in the Premier League table but are only three points clear of the relegation zone and are only being kept out of the bottom three by the ineptitude of some of the sides below them.

Looking on the bright side, they've only conceded four goals in their last seven games in all competitions. On the other hand, they've only scored two. Liverpool have been victorious on each of their last three visits to Villa Park and should be able to make it four on Saturday.

Bet 2: Back Harlequins to beat Wasps at 1.51/2

The penultimate round of games in the European Rugby Champions Cup sees Harlequins take on Wasps for the third time this season, and with Leinster likely to pick up maximum points against Castres, defeat for either of these English clubs coul mean the end of their hopes of qualifying for the knock-out stages.

Wasps go into this game three places higher than their rivals in the Aviva Premiership, although their winning run came to an end against Bath at the weekend.

Harlequins have also won three out of four domestically, their only defeat coming against league leaders Northampton and, more importantly they have had the edge over Wasps in their two meetings so far this season, beating them 26-23 in September and 23-16 in October. Back the home side to bag the points.

Bet 3: Back Neil Robertson to beat Ronnie O'Sullivan at 2.56/4

Ronnie O'Sullivan is a big favourite to reach his eleventh Masters final at the expense of Neil Robertson, but I think the value likes with the Australian.

O'Sullivan has won ten of their sixteen encounters, including four of the last five, but their last two meetings in 2013 suggested that Robertson isn't too far behind. He beat O'Sullivan in a European Tour event, and lost a final frame decider in the semi-final of the Champion of Champions.

Both players reached the semi-final courtesy of 6-1 victories, but Robertson's thrashing of Ali Carter was particularly impressive, as he recorded a pot rate success of 97%. The world number one is one of the few players around who can match O'Sullivan, and he's a good bet to defuse the Rocket on Saturday.
