Match Odds: Walsall 2.747/4, Sheffield United 2.89/5, The Draw 3.45n/a

Sheffield United enter this contest as one of the most discussed teams in the country at present, with Tuesday's confirmation that they are allowing Ched Evans to train with them attracting nationwide news coverage.

Though it was implied that they will do so owing a PFA request to help him find fitness rather than as part of a preparation to re-sign him, the development hasn't been well received. Predictably, given its announcement right at the point in an international break when people run out of stuff to talk about, the subject is everywhere too.

Onto the football, the Blades have endured a disappointing start to November, losing at home to Barnsley and being held at Crewe in the FA Cup, having ended October with four successive victories. Five of their past six games provided under 2.5 goals, as have three of Walsall's last four as hosts.

There were also two goals or fewer in three of their four head-to-head collisions during the 2012/13 and 2013/14 campaigns.

Recommended Bet: Back under 2.5 goals @ 1.794/5

Coventry v Plymouth
Wednesday, 19:45

Match Odds: Coventry 2.01/1, Plymouth 4.3100/30, The Draw 3.711/4

Coventry have regained access to their Ricoh Arena stadium, but it hasn't proven to be the solution to all of their issues, with the Sky Blues sixth-bottom of League One. A recent win over Peterborough and draw at Leyton Orient may have been a false dawn too judging by their 1-2 home FA Cup defeat to sixth-tier Worcester City at the weekend.

One constant of their past month-and-a-half, regardless of whether they were winning, drawing or losing, has been the entertainment on offer. Their last eight encounters all delivered over 2.5 goals, with the previous four against fellow Football League sides shooting over 3.5 as well.

Plymouth haven't been quite as wild when it comes to scoring and conceding, though they were more productive and porous on the other two occasions that they stepped up to face League One clubs this season, drawing 3-3 with Leyton Orient (2-2 after 90 minutes) and beating Swindon 3-2.

Recommended Bet: Back over 2.5 goals @ 1.9520/21
